Having attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa he graduated in October of 2007 receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Dr. Rick is a passionate, sought-after speaker in the areas of health, healing, and empowering people to reach their full potential in every aspect of their lives. He is passionate about the chiropractic mission and making an impact on the world by delivering "The 5 Essentials" of Maximized Living: maximize the mind, maximize the nerve supply, maximize nutrition, maximize lean muscle mass, and minimize harmful toxins. He knows that all health and well being starts from the spine and nervous system, and getting adjusted regularly allows you to live life to your fullest potential.

Dr. Rick's Story in his own words:

I’d like to introduce myself by telling you what I do and the reason I do it.

You see, 6 years ago I lost my father to heart disease. Just two days before my dad had his heart attack we were having a great conversation over lunch. My father was kind of a stubborn guy, so he thought that because he felt good on a daily basis he was healthy. What he didn’t realize, like most people, was that health often has nothing to do with “how you feel.” That day at lunch my father felt great, but sadly two days later, at the age of 55 my dad passed away. A seemingly healthy individual with a long life ahead of him was taken from our family. The jolt of losing my father literally rocked the foundation of our family. If you have ever lost a loved one you know exactly what I’m talking about. I still remember the feeling of helplessness as I watched my family sit in mourning. A son and three daughters lost their father and a wife lost her husband that day. As the next few months passed it started to set in that I would never get a chance to have lunch with my dad again. No more conversations, no more fishing trips, and no more fatherly advice. It was during this time that I made a promise to do everything in my power to never let this happen to my patients or their friends and family. I vowed that I would educate people about the dangers of thinking that masking warning signs with medication is not the way to a long and healthy life.

5 months after my father’s departure, I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic. After successfully treating hundreds of patients during my clinical experience, and meeting the woman that would later become my wife, the time came to spread my knowledge of chiropractic to the Naperville community. I have dedicated the last five years to treating patients and speaking to groups in my community. Not only have I kept my promise to educate people about the dangers of ending up in a “sick care” system, I have helped transform the lives of thousands in our community.

It’s strange how life is, because now people come to see me with their headaches and all kinds of health concerns. They bring in their children and refer in their families complaining of allergies, ear infections, colic, asthma, heartburn, joint pain, back pain, sports, or auto injuries just to name a few.

In practice, I see miracles happen every day. Like a women that came in with 15 years of migraine headaches. After five visits her headaches never presented again.

Another patient came in complaining of back pain. On her return the next day, she not only reported improvement with her complaint, but also mentioned having the best sleep she has had in six months.

One of my most memorable patients however, was a forty-eight year old woman who came in with Lupus. Barely able to walk in under her own power, she was desperate for help! An exam revealed several misalignments in her spine. During her first month of care her condition improved dramatically with every visit. It wasn’t long before she was walking without her husband having to be there as a crutch.

My patients often thank me for helping them with their health problems. But in fact I really can’t take the credit. The truth is, all I do is deliver a specific spinal adjustment to remove pressure from a nerve, and the body responds by healing itself. We get tremendous results and it’s really that simple. My job is to help people help themselves, weather through the removal of nerve interference or through nutritional counseling, I help give their bodies what they need to perform at optimal levels and that is what I have committed to do for everyone who comes to see me.
